A prayer for His sailor

Lord this I pray
May he make it home again
Give him smooth sailing
On the waters of life, Lord

Don't let him fall into despair
May he in his darkest storm
Turn to You
Give him a calm and trusting heart
In You, Father

Be the wind in his sails
And may the sun set red this night
For you make that a sailor's delight

Be his strength for him, Lord
For your strength is made perfect
In his weakness

This I pray, Amen
