Rain

I listen intently as I hear raindrops splash against the glass on my window.
I watch as the droplets run together in little races down the glass.
How peaceful it is at my window.
Hardly a creature can be heard over the hum of billions of raindrops hitting the earth.
So, I shall remain here; in my quite room; with a nice mug of hot tea.
Rain; it is ever so inspiring.
It cleanses; rejuvenates; replenishes; and sets the heart at peace.
