Don't exhaust yourself
In this pursuit

If anything were to happen to you
I don't know what I'd do

You remain in daily thought
And in every prayer

My heart is truly with you
Through  every passing day

It's funny to think
It's almost been a year

I feel as if though I have know you
So much longer than that

Keep a guard on your heart
For the devil's schemes are everywhere

Don't be thrown into despair
Who knows when our paths may cross

I do believe they will meet up once again
I just don't know when

I will wait
Unless God gives me a change of heart
